Given the abundance of sights and cuisine to enjoy, travelling to India is a wonderful experience. India offers countless options for unforgettable adventures, including national parks, animal safaris, white-sand beaches, sacred places, numerous authentic festivals, enormous temples, caverns, forts, and sculptures.
The country has several holy sites and destinations for pilgrims. For spiritual pilgrims, India offers the greatest opportunities for finding inner peace in Ashrams, temples, pilgrimage sites, and other religious sites. If you want a quiet, spiritual holiday, India is the place to go, so stop looking elsewhere.
The Buddhist monasteries in the North adhere to customs and traditions that honour Indian culture and promote a modest way of life. Some ashrams offer lodging where guests may live simply, consume simple organic cuisine, and enjoy modest amenities. It is also among the finest methods to unwind from the stress of daily living and find inner calm.
You require India e-Tourist Visa (eVisa India or Indian Visa Online) to witness the amazing places and experiences as a foreign tourist in India. Alternatively, you could be visiting India on an India e-Business Visa and want to do some recreation and sightseeing in northern India and the foothills of the Himalayas. The Indian Immigration Authority encourages visitors to India to apply for Indian Visa Online (India e-Visa) rather than visiting Indian Consulate or Indian Embassy.
Do Holders of Netherlands Passports Require A Visa To Enter India?
Before visiting India, holders of Netherlands passports must apply for an eVisa. However, the introduction of the online visa application has done away with the time-consuming practice of needing to schedule meetings with embassies or consulates as well as the long wait times for granted visas to arrive.
By eliminating the need to stand in huge lines at the airport, this process has become even quicker than acquiring a visa upon arrival.
Since the introduction of the Indian electronic visa in 2014, visiting India as a citizen of the Netherlands has become a very easy and uncomplicated process. Filling out the online application form and uploading the necessary documentation allows citizens of 166 different nations to apply for an Indian visa from the comfort of their homes. The entire procedure is finished within 15 minutes.

- The Dutch citizen business visa to India has a one (1) year validity period, facilitates duplicate entry, and permits extended consecutive stays of up to 180 days overall.
- The Indian medical visa for Dutch nationals, however, has a shorter validity term of up to 60 days from the date of issuance and permits triple (3) entries with consecutive stays of up to 60 days.
