Documents Required for Indian e-Visa in 2023

When applying for an Indian e-Visa, it is essential to carefully read the instructions and upload the necessary documents based on the visa type.

A digital photograph of the applicant is required, which should be taken with a digital camera or phone camera, with the head centered in the picture and a light-colored background, preferably white. The photograph must be in PDF, JPG, or PNG format and should not exceed 3 MB. Detailed information regarding India visa photo requirements can be obtained beforehand.

A scanned colored copy of the first biographical page of the applicant's passport, which displays all personal details and the applicant's photograph, must also be uploaded. The scanned copy should be clear and not blurred, and it should be in PDF, JPG, or PNG format, with a file size that does not exceed 3 MB.

Documents Required for Different Types of India e-Visas

When applying for an Indian e-Visa, specific documents must be provided depending on the visa type. The papers must be in PDF, JPG, or PNG format and should not be larger than 3 MB in size.

Applicants for the India Medical Visa must provide a letter on the letterhead of the hospital in India indicating that the applicant has been advised to go for specialized medical treatment.

Documents Required for Indian Conference e-Visa:

Applicants for the Indian Conference Visa must provide an official invitation letter from institutions, specialized agencies, or NGOs registered in India. Additionally, proof of political clearance by the Ministry of External Affairs and proof of Ministry of Home Affairs event clearance are required.
