How long does it take to obtain an electronic visa from Italy for India?

On the Indian Online eVisa website, applicants can complete the Indian eTourist visa application. A list of personal details, including the applicant's full name, birth date, place of birth, citizenship, permanent address, and contact information, will be requested on the application form. Additionally, applicants may be questioned about their career history, educational background, marital status, religion, anticipated ports of entrance and exit from India, travel information, the nations they've visited in the past ten (10) years, and passport details.

Additionally, some security queries will be presented to travellers as yes-or-no choices. Candidates must decide whether the scenario is applicable to them while selecting an answer.

In some situations, applicants may need to get a Yellow Fever Vaccination Card if they recently travelled to a nation where yellow fever is a concern. The passenger will be quarantined for up to 6 days upon arrival unless this card is produced to Indian Immigration and Border Control Officials.

Travelers will need to use a legitimate debit or credit card to pay the processing fee as part of the Indian eTourist visa application process. Before submitting the application, travellers will have a chance to review their information.

The information on the application and the information in their passports must completely match for there to be no processing delays or, in rare situations, a possible visa denial.

The traveller is required to bring a printed copy of the eVisa with him/her when they travel once, they receive their Indian eVisa visa email. Upon arrival at the port of entry in India, this together with the traveler's passport must be shown to Indian Immigration and Border Control officers. After the Indian officials have verified the passenger's details, the traveller will be required to submit both his or her photograph and fingerprints. Once this is done, an entry sticker allowing admission into India will be put on the traveler's passport.
